TheMMAC IS A FREE SPEECH ZONE

TheMMAC's programming includes a broad range of tastes. As a policy, performance and film content is left to the sole descretion of the performers and filmmakers. TheMMAC does not censor nor otherwise influence works as presented by artists. Every effort will be made to clearly publicize the nature of programmed offerings.

PARENTAL GUIDANCE

In as much as programming includes family, all ages and religious events, activities and films of an adult nature are also offered, generally during evening hours and closed to anyone under the age of 17. Valid ID required.
Minors under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at all times. No one under 17 is allowed after 7:30pm unless accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Parents ultimately are responsible for determining appropriateness of attendance by custodial minors.

Many films shown at The MMAC have not been rated by MPAA

The Multi Media Arts Center reserves the right to refuse entry and/or eject anyone deemed to be behaving in a manner not in line with acceptable conduct as determined by the sole descretion of Manager on duty or security. Anyone using any illegal substances or intoxicated will be summarily ejected and/or refused entry.

PATRONS ARE SUBJECT TO BE RECORDED BY SECURITY AND WEBCAST CAMERAS IN ALL PUBLIC SPACES WITHIN TheMMAC


TICKET / ADMISSION POLICY
No Refunds - No Exchanges
In the event of a cancellation refunds can be secured only at point of purchase.
Student, Senior Citizen & Unemployed Rush Discounts subject to availability
(1/2 hour after start of show, valid ID required)
Outlets charge a non-refundable service fee

Memberships are not transferrable


PROGRAMMING BOOKING POLICY

THE MMAC has an Open Booking policy
Programming is opened to all types of performing & visual artists.
Eclectic inclusion & cultural exchange with a world view, the goal. However anything promoting violence, racism, sexism, or similar hatred will be avoided.

CAFE STAGE DIY POLICY
CAFE STAGE is available anytime otherwise not booked/dark
Just sign up! & Put out your hat/tip jar.
Sets no longer than 30 minutes
Limited to times stage is deployed & not otherwised scheduled
Not available while any events in TheMMACtheater or most StudioMMAC events.
Management reserved the right of end / cancel performance for any cause without warning

TIP JAR POLICY
ONLY when no cover or admission is otherwise charged,
performers are allow to solicite tips from MMAC Patrons.
Patrons are encouraged to tip performers while in force.
Performers retain 100% of tips received!

WEBCASTING & RECORDING POLICY
Realtime webcast and/or recordings of performers is only allow by the expressed written consent of said performer(s). Release(s) must be signed prior. Performance may be recorded only upon verbal consent but only as witnessed by house /general manager and performer, subject to later written release, but no broadcast is otherwise allowed.
Patrons are subject to being webcasted and acknowledge consent.

ADVERTISING POLICY
The Multi Media Arts Center reserves the right to refuse or discontinue any advertising.
